it all depends on how you use your 3 wood during a round - is it's purpose as a 2nd driver or as a fairway club to advance the ball as far as possible? I don't know what degree your 2 hybrid is (17 degree or 19 degree?) but I carry a 13* 3 wood and a 17* 2 hybrid - I use both of these clubs often - I drive with my 3 wood on tight tee shots because I can hit it 250-260 straight. From the fairway, I'll use the 2 hybrid - I also carry 3 wedges (48*, 52* and 56*) - the 56* is the go to club within 100 yards and I use it around the greens, too - I don't think 4 wedges are necessary - get your 3 wood re shafted with a stiff shaft or get a new 3 wood you like - the warbird is kind old and there has been a ton of technology since the warbird - I think the Bobby Jones 3 wood is the best 3 wood out there for amateurs - I recently added it to my bag and I am amazed at the feel and the distance - good luck

It is quite difficult to draw a line between the recession and depression because there is not a definition upon which all economists agree. If you would ask 100 different economists to define the terms recession and depression, there is probability that you would get at least 100 different answers. In this article, I will try to summarize both terms and explain the basic differences between them in a way that would make all economists agree upon this.

What is recession?

The definition of a recession that is defined by the newspaper is a decline in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for two or more consecutive quarters.

However, this definition is unpopular with most economists for two main reasons. First, this definition does not take into consideration about the changes in other variables. For example, this definition ignores any change in the unemployment rate or consumer confidence. Second, when the quarterly data is used, this definition makes it difficult to identify the specific time when a recession begins or ends. It may be possible that a recession that lasts ten months or less may go undetected.

The Business Cycle Dating Committee at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) gives a better way to find out if the recession is taking place. This committee determines the amount of business activity in the economy by observing the things like employment, industrial production, real income and wholesale-retail sales. According to the definition which is done by NBER, a recession is the time when business activity has reached its peak and starts to fall until the time when business activity bottoms out.

What is depression?

Before the Great Depression of the 1930s, any slump in economic activity was referred to as a depression. The term recession was developed during this period to differentiate periods like the 1930s from smaller economic declines that occurred in 1910 and 1913. So a depression is the downturn in economic activity that lasts longer and has a larger decline in business activity.

The Difference

So the question is how we can tell the difference between a recession and a depression? A good way to determine the difference between a recession and a depression is to look at the changes in GNP. A depression is any economic slump where real GDP goes down by more than 10 percent and a recession is an economic downturn that is less severe.

I every now and then wear leather skirts, and on some occasions also when traveling by car of plane. However, I use loose fitting or even wide leather skirts when traveling, and they give me now problems. Tight skirts will loose their shape if I sit too long in them, so they are saved for other uses.

Tommy is sneaking in and out of fires in Jimmy's jacket to make the men think they are seeing Jimmy's ghost. Most of the guys are not new, but have not been in previous episodes of the show. These are guys they just haven't shown before and decided to show them to make the jacket wearing thing more interesting. Most of these guys were supposed to have worked for FDNY when Jimmy did.

Noodle Ice

What products do you purchase that has less in them?

As you know, alot of companies are cutting back on quantity to save money. I myself have noticed that some of the products I purchase have been "downsized". Like less sheets on the paper towel, less noodles in the Cup o Noodles, less ice cream in the carton, less chips in the bag or the price of Lays chips going up to 50 cents. So I would like to know what products have you noticed that have less?

Muesli bars are almost half the size they used to be, but interestingly the packaging is the same size. Somehow the manufacturers think we are so stupid we wont notice. Doesnt seem to stop them putting up the price though.

Almost everything is like this now. Check all your cans and bottles, ive noticed that anything that used to be 220g is now 210 or even 200g. Sneaky! I dont mind paying for something if ive made that choice, even if it costs a little more, but i hate being ripped off! Really annoys me. can you tell? LOL

If you're planning a party this Christmas, surprise your guests with unique and memorable Christmas party decorations. Remember, the decorations are very important because they are usually the first thing your guests will notice upon arriving at your house. Don't be satisfied with generic decorations like wreaths and red flowers, which you can see nearly everywhere. If you want your guests to remember your party, make sure you have memorable decorations. Walk in the Winter Wonderland

Create the Winter Wonderland effect by using mainly white decorations on the entire venue. Make the Christmas carol come alive in your party by paying homage to the 12 days of Christmas. Think of quirky ways to incorporate the items mentioned in the song. For example, in order to represent the "five golden rings," you can put 5 wreaths decorated with gold Christmas balls in a prominent area. In order to represent the "twelve drummers drumming," you can dress up a couple of cocktail tables to look like drums. To represent the "three French hens," you can serve three different kinds of chicken dishes. You can even tie fresh pears in a tree to represent the pear tree.

Have Fun at Santa's Workshop

Make the Christmas party really fun and encourage all guests to come in costume, either as fairies, dolls, toys, elves or Santa's little helpers. Make sure to assign someone to come in full Santa Claus gear, complete with a huge sack filled with "gifts." Spread colorful toys and various tools around the venue to make the place look like a huge workshop. Wrap a couple of cardboard boxes to look like gifts and place them in strategic areas. Serve your food in noodle boxes wrapped like a Christmas gift. For dessert, serve common children's favorites such as gingerbread, cupcakes and candy canes. GP

Instead of a wing, Nike incorporated the "Swoosh". The "Swoosh" is well known all around the world, designed by Carolyn Davidson in 1971, for ONLY $35.00. Caroline Davidson was at that time, a student at Portland State University majoring in advertising. Meeting Phil Knight while he was teaching accounting classes, she started freelancing for his company. She designed the Swoosh and got paid $35. Together with the Swoosh, Nike is also known for its signature tagline- Just Do It that makes Nike stand out like no other company.

Bowerman was the coach for the track team of the University of Oregon where Phil Knight ran in 1959. Bowerman's desire for better quality running shoes clearly influenced Knight in his search for a marketing strategy. Spurred with this burning desire, the birth of one of the world's most influential and strongest brand began to take shape. It took a while for the name 'Nike' to sink in minds and hearts of shoe fans and sports enthusiasts as well as to establish the great name they have today.

Nike took formation while Knight took his MBA at Stanford in the early '60s with Frank Shallenberger. The semester-long project was to create a small business of your own and device a marketing plan with it. Converging Bowerman's attention to quality running shoes and the knowledge and awareness that high-quality/low cost products could be produced in Japan and shipped to the U.S. to be distributed, Knight finally found his market niche. However, Shallenberger thought the idea interesting, but felt it was nothing more than Knight's marketing ideas for the project, something that would not take off as a business jackpot.

By the late '70s, Blue Ribbon Sports officially became Nike and went from $10 million to $270 million in sales, and all from the back of a car. Many people complained about how Nikes were not made in the United States in the beginning of the 80s. The term 'Sweatshop' came about this time when people were mad of the way Nike shoes were made in Vietnam, China, and Indonesia where the people were paid in low wages and were subjected to very poor working conditions. This was a major public relations issue that led to the boycotting of Nike products worldwide, particularly in the US. Though that, this didn't stop people from purchasing Nike products and Nike continued to grow.

The turning point for the Nike Company came about in 1985 with the world's greatest basketball player-Michael Jordan came into play among Nike bigwigs. With Michael Jordan, Nike climbed new heights with the ever popular "Air Jordan" shoe along with the apparels. This made Nike known as a 'Fitness and Sport Revolution' Brand and was named by "Advertising Age" 1996 Marketer of the Year, citing the "ubiquitous swoosh...was more recognized and coveted by consumers than any other sports brand--arguably any brand" Nike is at the top of the charts thanks to Michael Jordan but may never admit to this. Thanks to the new found success through collaborations with Jordan, this lead to ne collaborations with famous athletes such as Bo Jackson, Andre Agassi, Charles Barkley, Deion Sanders, Ken Griffey, Scottie Pippen, Penny Hardaway, Jason Kidd, Barry Sanders, and many more.
