What products do you purchase that has less in them?
As you know, alot of companies are cutting back on quantity to save money. I myself have noticed that some of the products I purchase have been "downsized". Like less sheets on the paper towel, less noodles in the Cup o Noodles, less ice cream in the carton, less chips in the bag or the price of Lays chips going up to 50 cents. So I would like to know what products have you noticed that have less?
Muesli bars are almost half the size they used to be, but interestingly the packaging is the same size. Somehow the manufacturers think we are so stupid we wont notice. Doesnt seem to stop them putting up the price though.
Almost everything is like this now. Check all your cans and bottles, ive noticed that anything that used to be 220g is now 210 or even 200g. Sneaky! I dont mind paying for something if ive made that choice, even if it costs a little more, but i hate being ripped off! Really annoys me. can you tell? LOL

You can even lower the thermostat in your heater so that the room will be chilly for your guests, but make sure they are still comfortable and not feeling too cold.
If you want, you can also rent an ice skating rink and have a skating Winter Wonderland party. You could even have a couple of ice sculptures around the rink as decorations. If it's really a white Christmas for you this year and it's snowing in your area, then take advantage of the lovely weather and make a couple of snowmen outside to greet the guests. Serve hot chocolate to complete the winter feel.
Celebrate the Twelve Days of Christmas
Make the Christmas carol come alive in your party by paying homage to the 12 days of Christmas. Think of quirky ways to incorporate the items mentioned in the song. For example, in order to represent the "five golden rings," you can put 5 wreaths decorated with gold Christmas balls in a prominent area. In order to represent the "twelve drummers drumming," you can dress up a couple of cocktail tables to look like drums. To represent the "three French hens," you can serve three different kinds of chicken dishes. You can even tie fresh pears in a tree to represent the pear tree.
Have Fun at Santa's Workshop
Make the Christmas party really fun and encourage all guests to come in costume, either as fairies, dolls, toys, elves or Santa's little helpers. Make sure to assign someone to come in full Santa Claus gear, complete with a huge sack filled with "gifts." Spread colorful toys and various tools around the venue to make the place look like a huge workshop. Wrap a couple of cardboard boxes to look like gifts and place them in strategic areas.
