Well, I have used the Titleist Scotty Cameron putters for quite a while already. I will say - it is pricey, but Scotty Cameron is the best brand for putters for a good reason. The designs are simple, but the weight distribution, feel, and consistency is exceptional. It's also quite forgiving as well. But, my favorite putter is the Taylormade Rossa Monza Spider or Monza Itsy Bitsy Spider. It is cheaper, gives a great performance as well, is stylish, and is (by far) more forgiving. Since I'm not in the PGA, I don't think there is a huge difference in performance - just the Spider is more forgiving. The Spider shouldn't cost you many strokes on the green by itself - that only can happen to Pro Tour players! So, the Spider is cheaper and gives a similar performance.

As the golf season gets back in to full swing and the PGA Tour sees the return of Tiger Woods to the winners circle after an enforced eight month layoff the question is asked time and again "What is in Tiger's bag?"

For all of his professional career dating back almost thirteen years Tiger Woods has been signed to Nike on a mega millions endorsement deal which entitles them to determine what clubs go in Tiger's bag. The only exception allowed is the putter where Tiger retained that choice for himself eventually settling on the Titleist produced Scotty Cameron Newport 2 putter. This is probably the club with which Tiger has become synonymous, countless times it has been waved in the air as another monster putt drops in to the hole.

There is much more research going in to the clubs that are in Tigers bag. The golfer works tirelessly with the Nike Research and Development team to produce a set of clubs that match his needs exactly.

Upon his return this season Tiger has switched to Nike's new SQ DYMO Driver, Nike's Victory Red irons, and the Nike ONE Tour ball. Nike has taken the MOI (moment of inertia) theory to much greater detail and can vary each club head to match the performance characteristics of any player. Every loft has a different shape, Power Bow center of gravity placement, face angle and height. The new SQ DYMO driver first became available to the general public just last month and has seen brisk sales since it's launch.

The characteristics of the Victory Red irons feature a more traditional muscle back design that is conducive to workability, shot shaping and ultimate ball control. The design requirements of these clubs were as dictated by Woods himself. In testing he was said to be delighted with the ability to shape shots both ways, change his trajectory all which he believes will allow him to hit the ball closer to the hole with greater frequency.

Another new addition in Tigers bag for 2009 is the new Nike One Tour ball. Development of this ball has further reduced driver spin and optimized the flight trajectory thus improving overall distance performance.

The 2009 PGA Tour promises to be another stellar year for the World's Number 1 golfer a position he has maintained despite being absent from the tour since the US Open in June of last year. The tour's status definitely suffered from the absence of their number one crowd pleaser, an absence which also had an effect on TV viewing figures and in general the overall appeal of the PGA tournaments was severely diminished due to Woods injury. It brings in to perspective the effort needed for him to carry off the 2008 US Open title while suffering from such a debilitating injury.

The return of Woods in obviously stronger physical shape that we have ever seen him before. Hopefully Nike have engineered the tools in Tigers bag with the same diligence and craftsmanship as they have in the past. Looking forward to another Tiger year.

I have the Faber-Castell Pitt Graphite Set, and...?

I was wondering how I am supposed to use the sandpaper sharpening block? I'm a beginner with this tool. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks for the help... But I'm not THAT new to this. I know about the pencils. I was just wondering because my sandpaper sharpener has a blue paper over the sandpaper. Do I take this off? Also, it has a green sponge-thing next to it, what is this for? All of this is glued to a piece of wood.

Since you are a beginner, the reason pencils come in different hardness numbers is to make it more advantageous for the artist. No matter what number pencil you are using, you should press down on the paper with the same effort. So you will get your darkest marks with the softest pencils and your lightest lines with the hard pencils. (Hard pencils have bigger numbers and/or higher letters) This is important as far as the surface of the paper in tact.
If your fingers are pinching the pencil, you are pushing down on your drawing surface too hard.
Sand paper sharpener; roll the pencil while pulling across for a sharp point. for a chisel point (to make a wide stroke) just pull the point across the sand paper repeatedly with out rolling. you can turn the pencil over 180 degrees to make the other side of the pencil tip flat as well.

I bought a few pairs of these in high school for track and I loved them. Normally I hate Nike trainers, but these shoes were perfect for my feet. Dont listen to Robbie. He knows nothing of Nike and there shoes. Nike running shoes suck before but now they have a whole new lineup which are pretty good. Nike most likely phased them out to include newer ones to attract more customers. If you are looking for them, try outlet stores or online. But if you really like Nike running shoes, go for the newer ones. I tried them on and they are really comfortable and good cushioning. If you have to money to buy them, go ahead and enjoy the new comfort of Nike

What can I use to pack a set of golf clubs and bag?

Any ideas on what i can use to pack or box up a golf bag with a set of clubs? I called the local sporting goods store to see if they had any empty leftover golf boxes from their merchandise but said they did not.
Can i tape 2 boxes together to make one long enclosure? Any ideas would help. Thanks in advance.
