Having a balanced putter leads to sound putting. If the putter itself can pass the simple spin and push test, a foundation for good putting can be made. If a putter is not balanced, it will torque at address and during the stroke; the putter will become a variable along with speed, slope of the breaks, greens condition, and length. Confidence in the putter will lead to a solid putting stance and more success.

Most putters will fail one or both of the simple check tests. The first is the spin test. With the grip pointing down, hold the putter just below the head between the palms. Spin the club. The more waggle it has the more unbalanced it is. The second test is the push test. Place the end of the grip on the floor and hold the club with one hand just below the head. With a finger of the free hand, push where the "sweet spot" is marked. If the head moves there is no real "sweet spot." If the putter fails one or even both, how is the putt going to be accurate?

A proper length of the putter is also a major factor in putting. A proper stance will dictate the proper length of the putter. A solid stance will begin with having the eyes over the ball; this allows the seeing of the desired putting line. Feet should be about shoulder width. Players should place their hips over the heels; this will build the foundation. The arms should drop below the shoulders to allow for a natural pendulum motion. Now the player should grip the putter; this grip will be the proper length for the club. With the off-the-rack putters many players might be gripping the steel shaft. The length should be adjusted. This fitted putter will help dictate a solid stance time after time.

With a balanced and fitted putter, the player's thoughts such as ... the hole is up hill and goes right to left ... if I shift into second gear quicker, I can improve gas mileage ... the green is a little wet ... I wonder if the guys at the office understand my report ... can be addressed without the worry of the putter itself or even the stance being a problem.

The secret behind golf is to be comfortable and eliminate as many variables as possible.

Bingo For Beans takes place every Thursday from 6 p.m. and continues till 9 p.m. It happens on the ocean front of the fabulous Playa Los Muertos.

This event primarily features prizes, guest callers and some amazing and delicious food from the skillful chefs of Bite Me. And guess who is going to be there to add more spice to your already "entertainment full night"? Well MC Grant Hunermund, of course, who previously used to own Mama Dolores. Great performance from Kim Kuzma will also take place which will just brighten and add sparkle to this entertaining event. But, this performance will be featured as a "wrap up" bonus prize for all of the people who are thinking of attending this event. It will take place on the 1st of October where in addition to the performance of Kim Kuzma, a grand prize raffle will also take place.

Guess what? There is more, on the last day of the Bingo For Beans at the Bite Me Restaurant, free appetizers will also be provided to every person who is attending. Well things like these just give a new sense and fun to the phrase "on-the-house"!

For all those people who want to know more, this Bingo For Beans raffle is basically a medium for the people of Puerto Vallarta to generate money. This money is going to be utilized in helping out for the Food Drives that are taking place every month. This money that will help in providing food to the needy and under privileged is going to bring a smile to the families. It will help them through this rough time, which will only go away with your constant support. The participants are also requested to bring as much donations of lentils, pasta, beans, rice or bouillon cubes that they can manage. You can also bring cash donations which will be utilized in supporting and helping the Pasitos de Luz. This is an organization that caters the disabled children in the region of Banderas Bay.

my kids have mesh bags so the water drips out. can't remember where i found them online, but they come in multiple colors (to keep kids' stuff straight); are big enough to hold boots, snowpants, mittens, hat, and ice skating helmet if needed; have a drawstring closure; and can be slung over the kids' shoulders (except they don't work well for my 4-year-old because she's so short they end up dragging on the ground).

So you have decided to go the eco friendly route with your next promotion. Great! But there are a few things you may want to know before you do so. If your intention is to draw attention to ecological issues as well as promote your company, there are many eco products to choose from. If on the other hand, you are hoping to really make a difference with your purchase, you will need to ask your suppliers these three questions.

Where were the eco friendly gifts manufactured? When people think about recycling old plastic products and making new things out of them, they generally think they are doing something good for the environment. However, most 'eco friendly' products are currently manufactured in large factories in the Far East. This means that your recycled drinks bottle promotional pen could have been manufactured in Beijing and then transported by sea or air thousands of miles to get to you. If you are hoping to reduce our carbon footprint, there a much better ways of doing so. What certification is there that the product is eco friendly? More often than not, the answer will be none. This is a new area for most business gift suppliers. Often, products that are called 'recycled' only have about 10% recycled product in them. A few name brand pen manufacturers are guilty of this practice so be sure to get the facts. If you really want an eco friendly product, look for products made out of wood that was manufactured from wood in FSC certified forests.

Are you sure the employees that manufactured these products are treated well? There is no point purchasing a recycled tire mouse mat if the people that produced it were six years old working fifteen hour days and paid peanuts. Conditions in Far Eastern factories are improving but unfortunately this is not always the case. It is therefore a good idea to deal only with suppliers who know their Far Eastern suppliers and feel comfortable that their staff are treated ethically. It is of course difficult to ensure that everything remains the same after their visit but I can assure you I have spoken with companies I would never even consider using because of their poor working conditions.
