After reading books The 4-Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferris and The Sovereign Individual: Mastering The Transition To The Modern Age by James Dale Davidson and Lord William Rees-Mogg, I had a vision of what I wanted in a business that would allow me to travel and work when and where I wanted. I wanted simplicity, high compensation, and ultimately freedom, both financial freedom and time freedom.

Thinking about the following crucial aspects of a home based or online business will save you much time, money, and stress as you take on a very rewarding career or better yet, adventure.

Product - Unique and in Demand

With all the products on the Internet, it is important that you should ask yourself, "Is this unique? Do people need or want this?"

Is this another brand of juice, or vitamins? Some companies already have the lion's share of the market. Is the company you're looking at able to compete with the larger established companies? How, if it's not unique, will it deal with the domination of the competition?

Is the product in demand? A unique product in and of itself will not be enough. Will this product be of use? Will it help people make their lives better? Does it add value to peoples lives? If you remove the product from the business opportunity would the product still be in demand?

Lucrative Compensation Plan

The new entrepreneur needs income from two sources: high up front income to immediately help with finances and high back end residual income for future freedom and retirement. Most people want to supplement their income and eventually make the business full time. High up front income is important to allow the new entrepreneur to start making a living quickly from his or her work. No one wants to wait for years to see an improvement in income. Look for products that sell from $500 to more than $1000 with fifty percent commission rates.

High back-end residual income is also important. The ultimate goal is freedom. If there is no residual income, you are stuck working the business all the time and will burn out.

Marketing System

This is a key area to consider. How does the company market it's products? Does the system incorporate the Internet? If not, are you willing to talk to people, friends and family, host parties, or make cold calls? Even if you are theoretically willing, will you enjoy it? If not, you most likely will not do it. If the system does incorporate the Internet, does it show you how to market online? Or will it just give you a replicate website and leave you on your own to bring traffic to your site. Online marketing works, but you need to learn how. Will the company train you in different strategies for different budgets, from low budgets of less than $500 - to high budgets of more than $1000?

Management

What is the background of the companies management? Do they have a proven record? Are they well respected in the industry? There's nothing more disappointing than to build your business over time and have the management take off with all the profits or go bankrupt.

Global Expansion

Can the company easily move into other national markets? Consumable products are difficult to establish due to the various national laws. Information products, however, are the easiest to market across borders.

Give Back To World

Does the company believe that it has a responsibility to give back to the world community. Is it charitable? Does the company culture believe that giving is part of it's purpose and not just making a profit?

Help and Support Staff

Does the company have a help and support staff to help you begin building your business? Can you turn to a company forum of fellow entrepreneurs to help you and give you advice and ideas? Will you have rely only on your sponsor or worse, will you be completely alone?

Before jumping into a home based or Internet Business, consider these questions. Learn from the experience of others before handing over your money and time. It can be highly rewarding and lucrative if done right. Learn and copy the pros and save yourself the pain of their mistakes.

Iron Wood

What iron, wedge, or wood should I add to my golf bag so i hit 14 clubs?

My handicap is an 8.8 as of right now and it is getting lower. I am a teenager that is still going to grow and get stronger. Right now in my bag i have a Callaway X460 10 degrees, Titleist 904F 15 and 17 degree both with ys-6 shaft. Cobra 3100 irons 3-PW. Titleist Vokey 56 degree spin milled and I only have 13 clubs in my bag. Which I want the full 14 in case I need a club for a couple of shots. But the problem is I do not know what other club I should get in my bag. Any suggestions will help with some reasoning behing them. If possible tell me why. Thanks.

Well you could rotate clubs depending on the course you are going to. I would recommend either 52 or 60 degree wedge if you are noticing your current wedges are not getting things done around the green. The 52 degree is considered a gap wedge, so you have 4 degree increments in your wedges rather than the current 8 degree gap between your PW and SW. If your wedge situation seems OK I would definitely go with a hybrid rescue club. They vary quite a bit in what loft so you really need to demo some to see what will best fit your needs. Ultimately you need to pick a club that gives you confidence to hit the shot you want, because without confidence it doesn't matter club you pick. Happy hitting!

There are several styles of wood stoves on the market. Consumers can choose from natural cast iron or plate steel, or they can have painted or enamel-coated finishes that match the home's decor.

Sizes and capacity vary, but some wood stoves can generate enough heat to warm approximately 2,200 square feet of living space. While houses with an open concept design are easier to heat with one wood stove, multiple rooms can also be warmed by this age-old source. The secret is good placement of the stove. Not only should the wood stove be installed in a room where the family spends most of their time, there should also be paths, or openings for the heat to flow to other parts of the house. Warm air can also be circulated by means of ceiling fans.

Choose from cats or non-cats:

There are two types of wood stoves – a cat and a non-cat, both referring to the use (or not) of a catalytic combustor. The technicalities of these two products can be explained fully by your local wood stove retailer, but in short, both help your stove burn clean and efficiently.

Safety with wood stoves:

From the moment you bring your wood stove into your home, safety should always be a key consideration. Here are a few tips:

1. Have a professional install the unit

2. Do not install the stove in a confined space.

3. Ensure proper clearance from any combustible materials, including magazines and newspapers, drapes, furniture and wood flooring.

4. Inspect your stove, or have a professional do it, twice a year. Look for signs of creosote or warping of the unit.

5. Only burn fuel that was designed for your stove. Burning trash in your wood stove has the potential to start a chimney fire.

6. If you have a catalytic combustor model, burning driftwood, artificial logs or anything containing plastic will damage the unit.

7. For any questions about the safety of your wood stove, contact the retailer, a chimney sweep company or your local fire department.

Vey solid shaft. Launches the ball higher than VS Proto or NV but still achieves the good roll out at the end. Feels solid but does not have the boardy feel of other shafts on the market today. I got an additional 15 yards of carry after switching. Easy to to flight lower, if desired. The cost is a bit excessive but if that is not a concern....go for it

Nearly half of the hours each day take place between dusk and dawn, when it is almost pitch black outside. On a spectrum of 0-100%, zero comparing to unassisted human eyesight and one hundred being comparable to regular daylight viewing abilities, each generation offers its own range of enhanced night vision abilities. Visual abilities of Generation 1 range from 10-20%, Gen 2 from 50-60%, and Generation 3 from 75-85%. Similarly, operational endurance extends with each of these gens. Operational life of Generation 1 devices is typically 500-1,000 hours, while Generation 2 provides 2,000 hours, and this number jumps to 10,000 for Generation 3 devices.

Deciding which generation of night vision device to pick can be tough to figure out without the advice of experts.
