Which sport is the most boring to watch on TV, nascar, golf, or polo?
definately golf by far... by all means im not really a nascar fan...."oh look, another left turn!" but its not nearly as boring as watching guys hit a ball, then ride to hit the ball again. not a bad sport to play, very relaxing but so boring. ive never actually seen polo on televsion but im sure its not exactly exciting either. im sure im gonna get crap from Nascar fans for the left turn comment though!

South Africa, beside an exciting Safari and holiday destination, also serves the purpose of world's "Sports Capital". It has a long history of proudly hosting matches, finals and world cups since the early 18th Century. Form Rugby to Soccer and Soccer to Cricket, South Africa can entertain from any to all kinds of Sports Fans. The country if full of stadiums fit for all kinds sports, the most recent "Fifa World Cup 2010" hosting has further enhanced the capabilities and pushed the government to carry on considerable developments and reconstructions to make things even better. What makes South Africa the first choice for World class matches is that it's an amazingly peaceful country in the world's most chaotic regions and the people are very friendly. Besides, its full of adventures and if you are there for the Fifa World Cup or any matcher there is plenty more exciting things to do and nearby attraction that can double the fun.
Apart from the sports hub Johannesburg and Cape Town, Durban is also home to two closely related rugby union teams, tennis courts, golf and swimming clubs, cricket stadiums, and any thing that a sports freak can think of. Durban is also host to the provincial cricket team Dolphins. The Dolphins team was initially known as "The Natal". This team has a historic significance and provided the world with many cream of the crop players, big names include Shaun Pollock, Lance Klusener and Barry Richards. Durban, like most big cities of South Africa, is not only a lead platform for rugby or soccer but Cricket is also played in Durban at large. The name of the Cricket Stadium is "Kingsmead Cricket Ground". This ground also has seen many electrifying performances by players from round the world. With such an impressive history of serving to all kinds of sports and bringing the best out of players, both locally and internationally, Durban is one of the host cities of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and is the host of an A1GP motor race, driven on a street track. It is also being heard that Durban will bid for the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the 2020 Summer Olympics, the success however, will largely depend on the performance and arrangements made this year for Fifa 2010 World Cup.
Durban is also not letting go in other categories of sports such as Horse Racing. The City is home to Greyville Racecourse, a major Thoroughbred horse racing venue which annually hosts a number of prestigious races including the country's premier event, the July Handicap, and the premier staying event in South Africa, the Gold Cup. Another well-equipped Racecourse is located at Clairwood, just south of the city centre and not far from Durban International Airport. There is also a professional Tennis Venue located at West ridge Park near The Berea, and an Olympic-standard swimming pool is found in the Kings Park Sporting Precinct. In addition to these venues, Durban has facilities for Water Polo, Hockey, and other sports, most notably the outstanding beach front which has played host to numerous water sports events such as the Mr Price Pro, surfing competition and the related Ocean Action festival. Beach volleyball is regularly played on local beaches and Powerboat racing has taken place in the Harbor. Durban and surrounding areas are also well patronized by Professional and Amateur golfers, with the golf course at Durban Country Club near the CBD being particularly well-known.
With the amazing grounds, number of stadiums for all kinds of matches, tennis courts, golf clubs, swimming clubs and much more, Durban is quite a city of Sports that can offer memorable Olympics in coming years and will enhance the entertainment factor of the coming 2010 Fifa World cup matches.
