i need to find a lever action thats a pretty good all around gun?

i know know firearm is perfect for everything i just want it to be well rounded gun i'm looking for a marlin i'm looking at the 30-30 or the
45-70, i have the marlin 357 lever action and fell in love with it took a deer at 78 yards 158 grain jacketed soft point, i was thinking about the 44 magnum lever action but its kinda spendy and i can find the 30-30 or the 45-70 cheap around here, i want something thats gotta bit of distance to it doesnt have to be a long range gun but 200 yards will safice i just need it to have power to drop medium game and possibly bigger game black beer deer maybe an elk? would a 44 mag drop an elk??? thats a side question dont gotta answer it

I like the BLR in the 7mm/08 caliber- ballistics almost a twin to the .270 and has a recoil that is easily tolerated. This will take out game out to 300 yards.The 45/70 has one of the worst trajectories in the gun world. You could not hit in the vital areas of game at a distance of much over 100 yards.Even though it has to power to kill at much greater distances. Plus it has a punishing kick. The 30/30 would work at to around 200 yards but the 7mm/08 has much superior ballistics. And the 44 magnum is one of my favorite lever gun cartridges. But again the range is very limited. There will also be some that will say the 7mm/08 is not a good elk cartridge.But there was a hunter by the name of Bell that killed over 200 elephants with the cartridge many years ago.If it will kill an elephant it wil kill elk and bear.

You can't be afraid to thump the sand. Swing hard and use the acceleration of the club to propel the ball towards the hole. Hit about 15cm behind the ball to create a tsunami of sand that will 'squeeze' the ball out.
