Has anyone ever had a soft knot about the size of a golf ball?

About 8 months ago I had a knot about the size of a golf ball come up on the inside of my ankle. It's right in front of my actual ankle bone almost on the top of my foot. It is soft and for a long time it did not hurt. I could press it and it felt soft. There is no discoloration of the skin, but it has become very sore. It is very tender to the touch and it hurts when I move my foot. Has anyone else ever had anything like this? Do you know what it is or what might have caused it? I am going to go ahead and have to Doc. look at it but that's a few days away.Thanks for your answers!
Saw the doc. and it's a ganglion cyst. Have appt. with Orthopedic surgeon. Thank you for your answer!

You probably bumped it and bled into a bursa and now have a chronically swollen bursa. You are correct to see your physician. The doctor can drain it and perform a culture as needed if the fluid inside looks murky.

Exercise has been proven to show positive mental effects for the brain. Such with the case of endorphins. Endorphins are like the natural pain relievers of the body. Exercise also boosts brain activities specifically in the frontal lobes and hippocampus. These results to an elevated mood thus making the person happier. In this way, exercise can actually do worried-ridden and depressed people a lot of good! If you want to lose fat just cutting your calorie intake or trying some new fad diet probably won't help you keep the fat loss you achieve and you'll probably balloon up bigger than you were before. What you need to keep at your target weight is a regular exercise program that you can stick to long term; don't go made for a week and then give up until next year start slowly maybe just by walking at first.

Increased flexibility is the benefit of stretching. These benefits occur through the elongation (i.e. stretching) of soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments). Typically certain muscles in your body are in a shortened position (i.e. "tight"), causing restrictions in the golf swing. It causes you to eat a lot all through the whole week after that one day of your workout only to only have like a once a week workout. It's normal for a child to have a higher heart rate than a parent if they performing the same exercises together. Maximal heart rate is higher in children and adolescents than adults, but does not significantly change during the growing years of 7 to 15. This makes estimation of maximal heart rate by set equations such as 220-age inaccurate for children and adolescents until the late teenage years.

Exercise programs that last for an hour or even longer per session seem to be a waste of time for many people who try to establish their workout routine. Many get bored of their exercise machines and routines pretty soon and that is just one of the strong reasons to drop-out of the vast workout plan.

Looking on the bright side, making the choice to keep active is easier than ever because there are probably greater opportunities and facilities available than for previous generations. Golf and tennis are still enormously popular as well as swimming and dancing. Fitness clubs and associations have appeared all over the place.
A regular exercise routine not only burns fat and increases muscle, it relieves stress and depression. In fact, a Duke University study revealed that for certain people exercise can combat feelings of depression as well as certain medications - without prescriptions and side effects.
