What is everyone doing in states where the weather is cold & dark all day other than go to work.?
The weather is dark & cold most days. It is dark by 4:30 PM. What does everyone do with their evenings, say from 4:30PM till 11PM. week-days, & all week-end. This question mostly would be put to singles over 30 or the retired.
too many get drunk to try to deal with the bleakness of it all. not recommended. for something healthier and fun, bowling , indoor ice skating, bingo (big with older people), volunteer work in the community (e.g. reading to kids at the library), taking a class at a local community college ( there's some really cool stuff, not necessarily heavy and boring), going to a public library, part-time job to supplement income, etc.
