What colour t-shirt goes best under an orange polo top/ golf shirt?

It's a nice orange Hollister one, and I have to look nice tonight.

Also, neither of my shoes goes with this shirt, but if you were to choose, would you say green hi-tops or red&white skate shoes.

If properly approached, golf is one of those recreational sports that can offer great relaxation. Its allure lies with its simplicity and precision. It is played with a club and a ball, solo or in pairs and the aim of the game is to put a ball, with as few attempts as possible, into the hole on a specially designed golf course. The course has nine or eighteen holes, depending on the design. Golf competitions are played for the smallest number of hits for one player and that is called a stroke play; or for the smallest score in the entire round from one player or a team and that is known as a match play.

The origin of golf is a bit vague. History holds much information regarding this sport in connection with Rome when the players used a type of bent stick for hitting a stuffed leather ball. As the Roman Empire spread to Europe so did golf where it eventually evolved into the form that is known today. There is data that offers the same information for China, England and France as well, so one cannot definitively claim to know the origins of this game.

Golf courses are natural and different levels of grass are made for amplification of level difficulty and the same is applied to holes in the course. Players use more than one type of club for the game - the maximum allowed is fourteen. Sometimes they have help from caddies - people that carry their golf bags and give advices during the game.

Golf clubs have a shaft with a grip on the top end and a club head at the bottom. Various types exist according to length and include: drivers, woods, irons, hybrids and putters. Golf balls are usually white (other colors are also allowed) and marked by dimples that enable the ball to fly higher and farther. Other accessories include: golf shoes (with metal or plastic spikes that provides longer and more precise hits); golf bags for carrying clubs, balls, gloves, usually carried by caddies or the player while driving a motorized golf cart.

One of the most important rules in golf is: "Play the ball as it lies, play the course as you find it and if you cannot do either, do what is fair."

Golf can be a wonderful way to relax, or an amazingly challenging pursuit. It's all up to you.
