I need a makeover. What do you suggest?

The current me:

Clothes:
- Clean and practical, usually tracksuit or jeans and t-shirt
- Comfort over style
- Trainers over shoes
- Only wear girlie clothes to church and when I get home they come off

Makeup
- very occasionally a natural colour lipstick because I have brownish lips
- never tried anything else

Jewellery
- Simple crucifix under my t-shirt
- Very occasionally clip-on or magnetic earrings

Hair
- Shoulder length murky brown, naturally wavy, brushed but nothing else

Complexion
- very pale skin with more dents than a golf ball

Glasses
- unfortunately, yes. I hate them but am too squeamish to try contacts

Nails
- short, because they break too easily

Smellies
- only use a deodorant, no perfume

I am sick of people thinking I am Jed Clampitt’s daughter, and want to re-invent the ‘new me’ as someone who seems she actually gives more than a sparrow's fart about her appearance, but I don’t know where to start. Help.

Clothes:
keep the jeans, but try some camis or tank tops. after a little while, switch to tubes over tanks. switch to puma shoes, in brown or black. What the h.ell are trainers? they don't sound good. don't wear them. also, cut some of ur jeans. they make great capris and bermudas. (btw, gauchos are sooooo over, don't wear them!)
Makeup:
foundation!!!!!!!!!!!! use a little bit of eyeshadow, maybe pink or a natural color. and make sure ur lipstick isn't too natural! try a few colors away from the color u have.
jewelery:
f.uck, a crucifix?!?!?! ugh. hmmm, if it's ok with ur mom and, well, god, use some nail polish and paint it. and make sure u GET UR EARS PIERCED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! use a simple birthstone as the earring.
hair:
u can put a headband in and then pull it back. sporty but cute. if u want, u can use a straightening iron on it.
glasses:
i have contacts and they are very easy!!!! Just go to ur eye doctor and ask if u can just TRY putting them in. if u REALLY can't, then choose some designer glasses.
Nails:
eat a lot of jello! use the clear nail streinthening stuff and let them grow out a little.
smellies:
good u use a deoderant! tru a little tiny bit of purfume. just a tiny little bit.

i rly hope this helps. u sound like a pathetic church slave! No offence. (and clampton's daughter was blond and cute. ur not.)
