I'm gonna buy the midsize Wilson Pro Staff 6.0 right now/today, should I?
I'm an advanced beginner, my theory is: If I by the 85 sq. inch and keep practicing with it till I get better, when I switch to a 95 sq. inch advance type racket, it'll become really easy to hit since I practiced with one much harder to play with. no? That's what I did with golf, I started out with forged blades and it worked.
thanks for all the answers. I actually bought the Wilson N-code 6-1 tour since it was $50 less than the new one, the K-Factor. 90 sq. inches of goodness! It's the smallest I could find and I really like it.
That makes total sense. I used a standard headsize until midsize racquets became available and I noticed the advantage of the bigger sweet spot immediately.
Since the difference in size is not extreme (as opposed to going fro 85 to 110), I doubt you'll need a long adjustment period to get used to the change.
The hottest and best-selling toy of 2009 are Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters. It's interesting that this little toy pet made it to the top of the charts. And it isn't expensive at all!
You can purchase one of the hamsters for just under $10. Not bad considering that it is a robotic toy. Other robotic pets can cost anywhere from $50 to $200. What with the recession and all, it is no wonder that parents are attracted to this toy for their kids. It's inexpensive and it can take the place of a live hamster for really young ones.
A word of caution here is in order. The wheels on these little robotic hammies spin very fast and have a very good grip so they can wheel themselves around pretty well. However, this can pose a danger to long hair which may get caught in the wheels if they get into contact.
If you do an internet search for these little guys, you might find some videos of them in action. I do have to say, they are rather cute watching them run around in their habitats, their car, and all over the floor. And the sounds they make are even more hilarious. You will hear them squeek, honk, moo, and an even more varied array of farmyard sounds.
What's even cuter is that you can get tons of accessories for them. You can create a hamtropolis for them by just connecting more and more tunnels to their habitat. You can get little carrier bags and blankies. There's even a surf board!
Have you seen a video of them in action? You can see one at this site on Zhu Zhu Pets.
