Where to sell broken driver head/shaft?
This past weekend, I was at the driving range with my cousin and we were sharing my golf set. He set up to use my Callaway driver and on the down swing, he hit the golf ball with the graphite shaft. The driver came off at the point about maybe 1/2 an inch above the driver, where the shaft is connected to the driver.
The driver is fairly old (Callaway Steelhead III w/ Graphite Shaft) and the cost to reshaft it at the local golf stores(Golfsmith, Golf Galaxy, etc) is apprx $150USD. For that price I could just spend a few more bucks and buy me a new driver. I was told by some people at the driving range that I could sell the shaft and driver head to random places.
Any idea where? Or should I just toss it out?
$150 Someones taking you for a ride my friend. Shaft woould cost $20 to $60 .Less if you look on ebay. Reshaft procedure maybe $10. See a local independat club builder and you will be happy. Not the chain store

Golf Paint Inc.?
I have aquired a Callaway Steelhead Plus driver that has a sky mark and some nasty scratches on the crown. I came across Golf Paint Inc. that had touch up paint that matches clubs. Anyone had any success with this product? www.golfpaint.com Thanks
