What type of shaft is a Precision "Project X Rifle" shaft?
I inherited a set of Titleist irons with custom graphite shafts. I want to know what type of shaft it has. I know they're graphite, but the only information on the shaft is that they're Project X Rifle. Are they typically regular, stiff, or extra stiff shafts?
They are steel, and probably not custom. Many sets, particularly better players clubs are coming stock with this shaft. And the KB Rep is correct, the higher the number, the stiffer the shaft. Yours are likely to be 5.5 (firm regular flex) or 6.0 (stiff flex, just slightly on the soft side)
