The 460cc Taylor Made r7 SuperQuad Driver gives golfers a great combinatin of power and forgiveness and it allows variations to the launch angle, spin-rate, and trajectory.
Taylor Made says that the r7 SuperQuad is longest driver equipped with Movable Weight Technology that they have made. There are 26 grams of movable weight through four cartridge ports, two 12-gram cartridges and two 1-gram cartridges. This is the most amount of movable weight for any 460cc driver along with being the only one to have four movable weight cartridges. Taylor Made did this by using Ultra-Thin Wall Technology in the club head, including the hosel.
The Movable Weight Technology in the Taylor Made r7 SuperQuad Driver also allows for six different spots where the Center of Gravity can be. The launch angle of the r7 SuperQuad can be adjusted by 1.5°, meaning that a 9.5° driver would act like an 8° or 11° driver. This can affect the lateral ball flight up to fourteen yards in either direction.
When it comes to preserving ball speed and distance on miss-hits, the Taylor Made r7 SuperQuad has two factors that makes it very effective. The first is the high Moment of Inertia due to the club's head being 460cc and the four movable weight ports in the heel and toe regions. The second thing the r7 SuperQuad has going for it is Taylor Made's Inverted Cone Technology. When the two of these are combined, they result in a very high and effective MOI. The RE*AX 65 shaft by Fujikura also gives stability along with consistency and higher club head speed.
The Taylor Made r7 SuperQuad Driver is an amazing driver, which provides great distance and a straight ball trajectory. The colors and look of the club are also brilliant with the whole club head in black except for the yellow accents on the sole.
