This is a compilation of my holes-in-one (or hole-in-ones, whatever the plural is) obtained since I started playing Mario Golf Toadstool Tour (December 2003). I have more holes-in-one in stroke play and other modes (17 total holes-in-one on the six main courses, and 50 at Congo Canopy as of 1/12/08), but the game only saves highlights from Tournament and Speed Golf modes. Some of these holes were played using Advance Tour characters (Neil/Ella) or custom clubs. Pictures of MGTT records and ...

I live in Kentucky & want to plan a vacation around golfing & drinking wine. However, I am trying to be as low-budget on travel expenses. What is the best spot east of the Mississippi River? Where is the best of both worlds without going to the West Coast??

I don't golf, but I know that one of the most famous and historic golf courses in the world is St Andrews in Scotland. August would probably be a good time to go, weather wise.

dude this video is over a year and a half ago, and I was trying to do commentary on it. i admit i sounded like an idiot back then, but i’ve done better over time with regards to when/how to comment on videos.
also, what i said in the video does not take away from what i accomplished in the game. just watch the clips. my commentary is for guidance/entertainment purposes only. if you don’t like the sound of my voice, then watch it with no sound. i won’t be offended.

Pinehurst, NC. The premier course is expensive but the others are reasonable.
If you need to tour the vineyards, try upstate NY. Good golf, too.

You don’t think people who try to complete this game 100% (or any game for that matter) doesn’t have a life? Yeah, fail logic right there.

Myrtle Beach or Florida would be the choices to look at, but most intensive golf schools where you go for four or five days don't allow for much beach time. You usually take instruction in the morning and then play 18 holes in the afternoon. Then hit balls at the range after your round, have dinner and get up and do it again the next day.

Get Lessons from Brian Manzella. His website is brianmanzella.com and he does lessons all over, but mostly in New Orleans, LA and Louisville, KY.
Go to his website, sign up (for free), and read his forums, look at his lessons in the forum archives, watch his free videos he has posted on youtube (his screen name on youtube is brianmanzella), and possibly buy some of his videos.
This guy is unreal as a teacher in his videos, I can only imagine how well he does in person. It is unbelievable to me how good he is and how few people have heard of him.

if i understand your question correctly – youre asking for destinations that are not currently hot spots, right?
If thats the case, i say costa rica. thats a growing tourist destination, very US tourist freindly and south america has a growing presence in professional golf.
coasta rica also has the beaches, mountains etc and is really reasonable budget wise.

There are several great courses around the Phoenix / Scottsdale area that will be very different from the layouts you are used to. A couple to consider would be:
Wie-Ko-Pah in Fountain Hills (east of Scottsdale)
The Raven at Verrado in Goodyear (west valley)
Sun Ridge Canyon in Fountain Hills
Great Eagle in Fountain Hills
TPC Desert Course in Scottsdale
Kierland Links in Scottsdale
Sanctuary in Scottsdale
Vistal in South Phoenix
There are many more, but these are some of my favorites. Each (with the exception of Kierland) are desert courses with some great views, etc. Rates for those courses in September would range from around $50 (Vistal) to somewhere near $110 (Wie-Ko-Pah). There are always internet specials and the Thursday edition of the Arizona Republic always carries golf coupons in the sports section.
The top four listed are my favorites in the area and are playable at a reasonable rates. The Raven is a bit of a drive from Scottsdale (50 miles) but worth the drive and they take care of their visitors.
Good luck
